FAQ

1. When I tried to download, I got "Error 1101, worker threw exception".

The server can be down sometimes. It's usually not that long. Just wait 30 seconds, and try to click the download link again.

2. What's the difference between softcoded and hardcoded subtitle?

Hardcoded
Subtitle remain in the video permanently
Subtitle display follows video quality and resolution so it doesn't look sharp if the video isn't sharp
	Suitable to upload for streaming
Softcoded
Subtitle can be turn off/on or extracted
Subtitle looks ultra sharp no matter how awful the video quality is or how big your screen is
Not suitable to upload for streaming because the subtitle will never appear

3. What's the difference between Fair and High quality?

For Fair Quality, the aim of the encode is to get the smallest file size as possible. It's not the best quality you can ever get but it's certainly one of the best among other encodes in the similar size range. I will make Fair Quality encode only for weekly show because it have so many episodes. The quality for each video can be different because I will change my usual encoding setting if the output size is bigger than what I desire.

For High quality, the aim is to produce the highest quality encode as possible but at the cost of bigger file size.

That's all for now!
